Jonathan is an experienced advocate whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, government investigations and enforcement matters, and white collar criminal defense.
Prior to joining AEL, Jonathan was an associate in the litigation department of a highly ranked multinational law firm in New York City and Atlanta. There, he represented companies across a variety of industries in high-exposure class actions and complex civil litigation matters. He previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. J. Randal Hall, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, and as an inaugural judicial law clerk to the Hon. Walter W. Davis of the Georgia State-wide Business Court.
Jonathan graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law, cum laude, where he served as an Executive Symposium Editor for the Georgia Law Review, was inducted into the Order of Barristers, and—along with his two teammates—won the 70th Annual New York City Bar Association National Moot Court Competition. Prior to law school, Jonathan graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina Honors College.
