Charlotte Woods

Charlotte is a paralegal with AEL. Charlotte earned her B.A. summa cum laude in International Relations, Economics, and Spanish from Bucknell University. During her time at Bucknell, she contributed to diversity and inclusion initiatives as the Coordinator for the Diversity and Inclusion Office and delved into political-economic theory through her work as a teaching and research assistant in the Economics Department. One of her most memorable roles at Bucknell was as an Orientation Assistant, where she led a group of first-year students in their acclimation to campus culture, class expectations, and community building. Her senior year was marked by rigorous research and writing projects, culminating in her thesis titled “On the Borders of Humanity: Human Rights Violations at Border Detention Centers in the Global South.” During that time, Charlotte also gained hands on experience as the U.S. Programs Intern on the Philanthropic Partnerships team at Save the Children. Upon graduation, she was awarded highest honors and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
