Raquel’s practice focuses on healthcare transactional and regulatory matters, state, and federal regulatory issues such as Stark and Antikickback (AKS) compliance, as well as the preparation of contractual documents for a host of clients, including healthcare providers, medical practices, and management services organizations. Additionally, Raquel navigates medical practices and healthcare professionals through enforcement matters, False Claims Act (FCA) investigations and audits conducted by Managed Care Organizations, commercial insurance companies, and the government.
Raquel received her undergraduate degree from Lafayette College, magna cum laude, and received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law with a concentration in Health Law. During law school, Raquel was a member of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal, interned within the legal department of the Hospital for Special Surgery, and subsequently worked as a law clerk at AEL.
